Score sharing terms
Version: October 14, 2026 · Operational limits updated October 16, 2026 · Applies when you accept these terms and submit a score.
1. Permission to share
By submitting, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights in the composition, arrangement, transcription and file, or that the relevant material is in the public domain. A classical composition can be public domain while a modern arrangement or MIDI file remains protected.
You grant Music Tree a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, technically normalize, inspect, render an audio excerpt from, display and distribute your submitted score through this service. Browsing and audio excerpts are free. Full community downloads and playback are available to users with Music Tree Pro, currently a one-time app feature purchase. We do not sell your upload as a separately priced song or promise uploader revenue. Permission ends for future distribution when your upload/account is removed, subject to copies already downloaded and limited moderation records.
2. What you may upload
- Only supported note-based MTREE scores, up to 1 MiB, 20,000 notes and 20 minutes, within the service's input-density limits. No executable code or arbitrary screen actions.
- Do not submit malware, disguised programs, scripts, excessive-input files, deceptive metadata, illegal content, threats, hate, harassment, bullying, sexual content, child exploitation, private personal information or protected work without permission.
- Use an appropriate nickname and accurate song information. A chosen nickname must be unique and contain 2–8 English letters or digits; it can be changed once. The operator’s fixed service name is reserved. Do not impersonate others or abuse reporting. Uploads require Pro and are limited to five new scores per account per rolling 24 hours.
3. Automatic checks and publication
The server parses and validates the musical data, rejects unsupported structures and excessive input, and publishes a normalized score after a successful check and your rights confirmation. Original embedded extras are not distributed. Publication is automatic and does not mean an administrator reviewed the copyright or content. Technical screening is not antivirus certification and cannot guarantee smooth playback on every device.
4. Reports and administrator decisions
Use Report in the app for copyright, unsafe input, misleading content or creator abuse. Any signed-in user can report up to three times per rolling 24 hours; Pro is not required to raise a concern. Block creator hides that creator's scores for you. Contact us below if the app is unavailable.
Four different accounts with server-verified Pro access temporarily hide a score from new previews and downloads. Duplicate reports do not add votes. Free reports remain available to administrators for review. A report is not proof of wrongdoing. Only an administrator using the separate server-management console can restore a hidden score. App accounts have no administrative controls. If an administrator confirms an invalid or abusive upload, we may revoke the creator's upload rights and withdraw their other shared scores. This does not cancel their Pro purchase. The upload restriction persists if the same Google identity deletes and rejoins the service. Contact support to request reconsideration.
5. Public information and removal
Your nickname, random creator ID, score metadata and audio excerpt are public; the full score is shared with eligible Pro users. Your Google email and sign-in credentials are not published. Account deletion removes your active shared files and private backups after your final confirmation; no administrator approval is required. The same Google account can rejoin after seven days. Copies already downloaded by others cannot be recalled. Minimal moderation records and confirmed ban identifiers may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Support, rights complaints and moderation review: ipu00@naver.com. Include the song title or score ID and the reason for your request. Never send passwords or purchase tokens.
